So I did some digging around and found this tried it and it solved most of my lag issues. I'm just wondering if lag spikes are normal for anyone else? Everything seems to going smoothly, a decent >20 FPS, then BAM, horrible lag spike. Bad enough to the point I can't move, attack, hell even defend myself. Most of my deaths are actially during the lag spikes.

With 1.8.1 I have almost constant 20fps, often going above 30fps, no weird latency issue, and only occasional freezes for a few seconds. In 1.7.2 I got a solid 60 fps and in 1.8 I also get a solid 60 fps...
